I love being active but I was finding it quite hard to accept that I could no longer run 10k every Sunday or lift and swing kettle bells, when I became pregnant. However, I quickly learnt to embrace the changes pregnancy brings and adapt exercise to suit my new needs.
Doing Pilates every week means I can still enjoy working out and it has helped me be the best shape I can be during my pregnancy. It has also eased my back and pelvic girdle pain, and has made getting back in shape after having a baby easier.
Exercise has always made me feel happier and Pilates has helped me deal with the changing emotions that come with being pregnant.
