Being active is something that has always made me feel good, but I let it slip after having my second child. Lack of childcare, energy levels, and just the juggle between working part-time and looking after my family made it hard to exercise. This changed after I took part in a postnatal running class, which I really enjoyed and it inspired me to continue exercising.
I’ve since completed several races including the Tough Mudder 5k. I also try and work out at home. My advice is “Do what you can, when you can”.
Exercise has improved my life in so many ways: I’ve met friends and I feel more confident. I’m starting to have a better relationship with my body and like it for what it is, and what it can do and does for me!
